Wonder Oil

I was going to post this photo for photohunt's wooden theme but I was late. Anyway, this bottle has oil and chunks of wood. The person whom this bottle came from said that the snakes bite into tree branches and the venom left on the branches when mix with certain oil can heal body pains. I called it "Wonder Oil" because I don't know how they call it. My sister tried it when she had fever. My mom rub some oil on certain parts of her body. The next day she felt better. I tried it but wasn't if it helped. It smells bad. I'm not sure how true this oil is but I enjoyed taking photos of it :D.

I find this quite weird...and probably just a myth. As much as I love Filipinos and Filipino culture, I just can't get myself to believe the tales. For example, they believe that if you let an electric fan blow on you, tiny bubbles will go through your skin and make you sick or have pain in parts of your body.

That's why they made the wonder oil to help with the bubbles LOL!

LOL. Ah, now it makes sense. I forgot to mention that Filipinos are totally scared of going out in the rain. Even if it's like 85 degrees outside(which it almost always is) and the rain is soooo warm, they still think they'll get sick. I think it feels really great! But I grew up in Oregon where it rains quite a bit.

I love the rain and not every Filipino :P

Aisha, in a way, this wonder oils sounds magically scary! I know things like this is believed to be true even in Malaysia, and ironically, some do have magical healing powers!
