Durian - King of All Fruits
My friend's pastor gave me and my friend a durian treat at this famous durian store when I was in Indonesia. My friend told me they sell the best durian fruit in Jakarta but it's quite expensive. The durian we ate cost 89,000 Rp (around $10), just one fruit with only 10 seeds. But of course, the taste is amazingly delicious! The best durian I've ever had in my whole life. It's sweet and soft and not too smelly. I don't like the bitter durian so much though I can still eat it.
Many people cannot eat this fruit especially those coming from countries who doesn't have the durian fruit. The smell alone will drive people as far away from the fruit as possible. To durian lovers, it is sweet perfume. Strong smell means the fruit is ripe. After you eat durian, you can put water inside the durians skin and drink the water or use it to wash your hands. The durian smell will instantly disappear from your mouth and hands. It's magic. :D

I think your nose was damaged by the grapefruit therefore damaging your tastebuds also which is sad because you will never be able to enjoy the king of all fruits..durian! hahaha

it's durian season here too and everyone in my family loves durian too much, in fact, i have had an entry about durian in the blog too.
i bet you cant get this fruit in the USA aisha. LOL even if you do, it wont taste as great.
durian is surely the fruit from heaven. some of my Filipino friends say that you only get them in davou.
Yes, that's true in Davao. They have the best durian. We can get it here in Cagayan but they're from Davao. Ohh if I can get it in US, it might be the time I can get my husband to taste it coz it will be expensive so he'll be force to eat ahahahahaha ahahahahah!
well i love durian.. i dont care whatever other people thinks about it.. there's a lot of durian here in davao.. hehe.. and i totally agree with you.. :) kababayan.. ^_^
before i dont eat this fruit. but when i got older i learned to like it until i became an addict.
