Selling Houses

My friend has been waiting for her house to get sold. Finally, after a lot of prayer, her house was finally sold with a good amount. A lot of people are having a hard time selling their houses here these days but we can always pray and ask God for it to be sold. I was going through sites and ran through mortgage life insurance rates. That's why I remember my friend asking us to help her pray. It's good to be able to get an insurance both for life and home mortgage to be secure. 

Applying for a Job

This week my goal is to apply for jobs that I think I can do and would enjoy. There are sales jobs I found but I'm not sure if I'm going to be good at selling. I did find jobs like working at a coffee shop and as food server at a retirement home. I like being with people and just serving them but I don't like coffee.

I used Steven's resume and changed it to mine. He helped me edit it and hope I will have the courage to go and apply to shops. 

Fishing

My right arm has been hurting for a while now. It scares me because I have been using the computer too much that's why it's hurting. I will try to not use it so much from now on. 

Last Sunday, my husband finally got to try his fishing pole. It was disappointing that we didn't catch any fish. The first spot they went to was not a good spot but then my nephew scare me with worms so I ran away and found this one spot where it was just beautiful (photo above).

They still didn't catch any fish. It was a tiring day. I told my husband that he should take a day off during the week to go fishing. That way, not a lot of people will fish. He said he got his b-day off which is really awesome. :)

Cancer Causing Mineral

Have you ever heard of a disease called mesothelioma? I have never heard of it. I searched online for it to know the meaning. It's a type of cancer that is caused by a type of mineral called Asbestos. This type of mineral has the ability to withstand heat. Birthday Gift

I helped clean my sister-in-law's house last Friday and she paid me $100. We agreed on $50 but she blessed me with more. I was really happy. I have always wanted to get Steven a gift but I wasn't sure what he wanted. Just recently he is getting interested in fishing. So I told him my birthday gift to him will be a fishing pole and fishing tools. I am not sure if you can call it sports gifts but he just loves it. He can't wait to start fishing. Hope there will be someone whom he can fish with but he said that he also likes to fish on his own. I just told him one condition, no worms inside the house (for fishing bait). 

Scenic Sunday

Mt Pisgah Hike

I went hiking with my friend Nettie yesterday to Mt. Pisgah. It wasn't tiring because we walked and stopped to take photos. We have the same pace too. She bought lunch and we ate it at her place. I love her place and I like the decor outside her place. It was drizzling but it stopped.

You'll see a lot of these flowers coming out now. They're really precious and it's just amazing how God created everything.

I called this place the enchanted forest. Beautiful! Great place for picnic with family and friends. Nettie really loves this place. 

Lose Weight

I wasn't sure at first about the diet pill called Apidexin. I checked on several websites and read what people have to say about it. There are a few who said it worked for them by losing weight quickly. This type of diet pill should also be associated with proper diet and exercise. Apidexin capsules are also made for vegetarian. It says that this diet pill will help you lose fat in your body. Use with proper caution though. 

Scenic Sunday - Spencer's Butte

Plan To Move

Steven and I planned on moving to a different apartment. Our lease ends this August so we must be able to decide before July. We have a lot of things now so we may need moving pods. Steven also applied for an assistant manager position in an apartment complex so we could have a free apartment. He won't get paid just free housing. I hope he'll get the job because it would save us a lot of money. If not, we have saved enough to be able to move to another apartment. 

Bedtime Story

Yesterday my friend and I went to watch a movie. When I looked up the schedule last weekend, it says the movie will start at 11:45am. When we got to the theater it was close. We saw someone working inside and asked what time they'll open and he said at 2:00 pm. We were really disappointed and just ate the food we brought with us. Then my friend's husband said that we can wait until 2 pm to watch the movie. They have babies that's why she can't go out very long. I'm glad we got to watch the movie, Bedtime Story by Adam Sandler. I don't really like him but it was a movie made for children. It's his first movie that I really enjoyed. 

I didn't know my friend fell asleep already because she was saying she's sleepy. I woke her up and we were laughing a lot because I was talking and didn't know she was sleeping. She said it's really bedtime story because she fell asleep.

Quilting Baby Bedding

I really enjoy looking at baby bedding quilts. Some of the ladies in my church have made it and they just look so cute. I'm sure the babies would feel comfortable. I might try making one someday. It looks fun to make but a little hard. Now that I know how to use my sewing machine, it might be easier for me. I need to buy some materials for it though. It's also fun to choose the materials because you need to have different baby designs. I just love it.

Scenic Sunday

I haven't been posting in Scenic Sunday for a long time. Now I'm back again. I took this shot a few days ago in front of our apartment. It makes me thank God for His beautiful creation.

Compare Insurance Rates

Yesterday, I went to the post office to get our mail. I got the opportunity to take photos since I just walk to go there and back. When I got home, I couldn't help not to open Steven's mails. I wanted to see how much we're suppose to pay for bills on our dental or medical. When he came home he tried to explain to me the different insurance rates we're paying on both dental and medical insurance. I'm glad we are able to use a website to compare all insurance quotes like housing, car, and medical for free.
