Waiting for Summer

It's been raining lately and I kinda wish that it's summer. I don't like the extreme heat but I do like it where we can go outside and barbeque at our patio. This coming summer, I would like to be able to buy patio furniture cushions so we can decorate our patio furniture. It's so plain without decor and it makes it look nicer. I would like to be able to accommodate more people into our house and help them feel comfortable.

Bruxism

I am so glad I got to try Dentek dental mouth guard. I get to keep it too and will be using it because it has helped me in protecting my teeth. My husband always tell me that I have been grinding my teeth a lot of time at night and it worries him. It will destroy your teeth if you do not wear protection. I don't worry about it now. It felt uncomfortable the first few nights but later on, it was just normal for me to wear one. It does come off easily but still it protects my teeth.

Travel to Mexico

There are so many Mexicans here in US. I see them everywhere especially their food. Americans love it. I think to taste real Mexican food, we should go visit their country. It would be fun to go see some places in Mexico and stay at mexico hotels. There are really nice places that has beaches and there are also just small towns where it's not as expensive. I want to be able to experience real Mexican traditions and not the tourist areas. Steven went to one of the small towns and he really liked it. Hope someday, we'll get to visit.

Food for the Brave

The balut boys is what I call them. Last night we had a Filipino dinner and Steven bought balut at the Asian market for the guys to try. He has never tried it and last night was his chance to try balut since he has other people trying it also. They got my friend's husband to try it, he's a picky eater but last night he ate it. I'm glad Steven had the courage to eat balut, lol! You are now a brave man. It looked so good and all I got to eat was the white part. :( I want baluuuuutttt!

Formal Wear for Men

Men are really attractive when they wear tuxedo. If I get to see wedding photos and men wear tuxedos, it's just really nice to look at. Some women also wear it. I think it has become a trend especially waitresses too. I know my husband loves wearing a tuxedo and he does look really handsome with it too. He didn't wear on the last wedding we attended but he was really funny during his speech. I love him!

Nephew's Birthday

I'm happy I got an A with my final exam yesterday. Today, we are going to do our clinical at an elderly home. It's going to be tiring. I'm glad today is just the orientation. Got everything last night, my shoes, a pocket notebook, and a watch. Now I just need to figure the bus route.

Today is also my nephew's birthday. He is 3 yrs old. Love him so much! Such a smart kid. Happy Birthday, Zach! He is getting bigger.

Wireless Connection

My neighbor before uses a wireless router. It's cool because I could go online without using my own internet. You won't need any wirings to be able to connect to the internet. It can be dangerous if you have kids because they play with it and it can hurt them if no one is watching. I am not really smart about technology but this one is easy to install using an installation cd and it's energy efficient. I like that.

Finals

Today's my final exam and I feel unprepared still. I had the whole weekend to study but still I feel like I am not ready yet. My Filipina friend called me and said it was the hardest of all the quizzes. Yeah, maybe it is hard. What can I do? I fell asleep early last night. Good thing Steven woke me up and we prepared for bed. He had an assignment too but he was really tired.
I'm excited to wear my scrubs though. It's going to be fun wearing a real one. Hope I can find the right shoes tonight because I start tomorrow.

Home Theater

I love plasma tvs. I love the way they look and the screen seems so real especially if you're watching into a really big one. Having a plasma tv makes me feel like watching a movie in a theater. It's just nice to not go to the theater to watch a movie that's really cool to watch in a theater. It's comfortable watching movies at home, it's less expensive and you can eat what you want without spending so much. Plasma tv are also really nice decor in your home.

Class Report

Yesterday in class we had our report presentation on the different parts of the body. It was really cool because some teams organized games and gave prizes. I ate so much chocolate. There were a lot of question and answer portion. It was fun. When I got home, Steven and his brother were asking me about where I got the candies. I said in my class. My team had a video presentation and I was kinda disappointed that the video online was cut off because it had a lot of important documents and the picture wasn't in the right spot where I wanted. Hope we still got a good grade. I look ugly there too.

Traveling Bags

I have decided to spend New Year's eve in Seattle with my husband's best friend. We are not sure if we have the money to travel though but if we do we will need a good luggage. I saw the Eagle Creek luggage website and was thinking about buying a better luggage. They have different styles from different makers and discounts too. I know that in the airplane they get thrown around when crews load them in and out of the airplane. Sometimes they crack or break so I want something that I can use at least for a long time.

Dark Circles

This morning my husband told me I have dark circles under my eyes. I haven't been sleeping well lately. I have so many quizzes coming. I thought I should check on eye creams to help relieve it. I didn't know that there is a site for eye cream reviews. I like reading people's reviews on products. It helps me decide which one I want to use. My skin is dry so I really need to be very careful on choosing the right one to use. Glad I could just check it online.

Furniture

Our second bedroom in our apartment is still messy. After moving here for almost two months now, I still didn't make a time to just arrange it and turn it into a sort of study room. I do need office supply like desk, chair, filers, and other stuff so either me or Steven could just go in there and have some quiet time studying. I really like that room and maybe this weekend I will make a it a priority to just think about what to buy and how to arrange them. I can just go online and buy the items I need.

Fast Way

Steven has been complaining lately about being fat. He is not actually but he has been gaining some extra pounds. The easy way to lose fats is to take fat burners. I know he would just want to exercise and try to eat healthy but I am okay with taking pills if I have to. There are some people who find it really hard to lose weight. This is the easiest and fastest way to go if you are desperate to shed some of those pounds. A lot of people gave their reviews about it and it seemed to work for them. I usually ask my doctor first to see if it will work for me.

School

School is getting more and more harder but we're almost done with studying inside the classroom. Next month we will be in an elderly home and hospital to practice what we have learned in the classroom. I am getting excited but nervous at the same time because I really want to be able to pass the board exam. My Indonesian friend is having a hard time with her English but she is really smart. Today we practice on oral care and feeding each other. It was fun eating some food but I was kinda scared to drink the water, it didn't taste like our regular tap water.

Looking forward to our quiz on Thursday which is about abbreviations and symbols that medical people use. I like it compared to my other quizzes. Hope I'll do well!

Living in Chicago

A friend of my friend visited her this weekend. She is from Chicago. My friend told me that she lives in Chicago apartments and if we want to go there, we can stay with her. It would be nice to visit another state. People here always tell me how different it is to live in another states. It would be nice. Steven wants us to spend New Year's eve in Seattle but I am not into it. Maybe but I'd rather spend New Year here even if it's lonely. I just find Chicago interesting though.
