No Power

There are still a lot of people in our area that doesn't have electricity due to the snow storm we had last week. Tree branches fell off on electric cables. Many houses were affected. Some still don't have electricity since Friday last week.
People are asking when they're going to have their electricity back. Can you imagine not having some place warm to stay during the snow storm? I can't, especially with three kids.

I am thinking of getting some emergency kit or equipment for times like this. I didn't have a way to cook food when our power went off for a few hours. I was glad we went grocery shopping before the snow storm got worst. We got to make sandwiches. I was ready to grill some food for dinner if electricity didn't turn back on. It would just be too cold to stay outside though.

Enjoying the snow for a bit!

With all the snow we have gotten lately, we were afraid that we may even loose power for a bit. I know my SIL did - luckily she and my nephew got to stay with my inlaws. We did get a generator JUST incase this happens...

We're under a state of emergency until Thursday here in the Atlanta area. Expecting "catastrophic" ice storm. You never know with GA though! I'd love some real snow, but that's a rarity. I'm hoping we don't lose power, I have a little one at home as well. We have above ground power lines and pine trees all over the place that snap so easily from ice. Hoping everyone stays warm!! And your family is beautiful. :) #SITSblogging

Our area is being effected by a storm right now, too. It's awful to know how many people are without power. I'd say go ahead and get that emergency kit just to be safe! Finally visiting from SITS. Happy Valentine's Day.

I hate when we lose power. I have two boys that have to do breathing treatments so if we ever lose power, I automatically have to find somewhere else to go. This weather has been crazy. I need spring to get here quickly. #sitsblogging

Your pictures show the fun side of snow but losing power certainly is one of them.
